The Official Android app (free) for Facebook enables you to connect with your friends and share with them the important moments in your life even on the go. No doubt a mobile app has its own limitations. But within the limitation, Facebook provides you a better Facebook experience on your mobile device that will be useful when you are away from your home computer. Few hours back vide a blog post Keith Peiris, Product Manager at Facebook, announced the availability of new Facebook app for Android.
The new updated app brings three new features to Facebook for Android. Better Photo Viewing, easy access to messages and the new left hand menu are those alluring features.

- Search and you will discover: Look through friends, subscribers, apps, and pages.
- See your friends tags on pictures and zoom: New photo viewing experience.
- Faster notifications: Get alerted in real time with new push notifications.
- Games & Apps: Play games and access your favorite apps on the go.
- Access to mobile timeline (If you already have a timeline)
- Access to friend lists and subscriptions.
The new improvements enable the app to load photos and albums two times faster than the previous one. Also you can easily share photos, view comments and edit captions on the go. The new left hand menu enable you to easily access your News Feed, Groups, games and apps. You can now see your messages and notifications on the top of the screen.
