The new twitter desktop app from Echofon lets you use almost all your twitter needs in a simple window outside your browser on Windows. An easy way to access your twitter timeline, [at] mentions, messages etc. in an intuitive small window that loads faster. You can also reply to tweets and favorite tweets by clicking the small icons visible when you point your mouse on tweets. To retweet, simply right click on any tweet and choose Retweet or Retweet with Comment.
Further, click on a user or conversation, a detail window will open allowing you to read the conversation, or see all of that users information including tweets, favorites, lists, retweets.

- Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, Ctrl+3, Ctrl+4 and Ctrl+5 – To easily switch between your timeline, mentions, message, list and search respectively.
- Ctrl+R – Refresh Timeline
- Ctrl+J – Jump to Unread
- Ctrl+U – Go to User
- Ctrl+Shift+U – User Profile
- Ctrl+I – Add Image to Tweets
- Ctrl+L – Add Geo Location to Tweets
Echofon supports multiple twitter accounts. You can add more accounts from Echofon->Preferences->Add Account. You can even set your Echofon font size from the same window.
