Read Your Favorite Site’s Latest Updates at One Place [Tips]

I have bookmarked several web pages, like you Smile, to get update with the latest stuffs happening around the world, that I consider interesting to me. It is not possible for me to check all these webpages often for latest updates due to reasons like time, network speed etc.

666A] Start up

Open your regular webpages one by one and look for “RSS feed” or “Subscribe to RSS feed” similar links and copy them and paste it to notepad or note down on your scribbling pad.

B] Fetch Feed

Visit Yahoo! Pipes website and click “Create a pipe”. You need to sign in with your existing Yahoo ID or sign up to create new.

Click “Sources” on the left hand column to expand it and Drag and drop the “Fetch Feed” module to the canvas right.

Enter the feed URLs that you have noted to the field one by one.

C] Sort

Expand “Operators” and drag and drop “Sort” module to the canvas page.

Set the sort options as follows. Sort by item.pubDate in Descending order. This for getting latest stuff on top of your aggregated story.

D] Connect Modules Via Pipe

Click the small circle on bottom of the “Fetch Feed” module and drag and drop the pipe emerging on to the top circle of “Sort” module. Now connect “Sort” Module to “Pipe Output” in the same way.

Save and Run Pipe. There you can see option to add your newly created Yahoo! Pipe to any of your selected Reader.
