After five release candidates, Opera released final version of Opera 11.50 aka Swordfish. The new stylish Opera comes with a new polished body, thanks to Opera’s Featherweight project working to make Opera as light, bright and user-friendly as possible.
Brand new toolbar icon sets, no more button borders in the address bar, updated status bar design and content are some of the visible changes in the Opera 11.50 UI.
Swordfish is now boasts of having equipped with Opera’s newest rendering engine – Presto 2.9.168 — featuring up to 20% faster rendering of CSS and SVG, support for HTML5 tag, Session History and Navigation and many other enhancements.
Secure synchronisation of passwords between computers, new enhanced speed dial with add-on capability to bring live content on each and every new tab are some of the other noted features in this release. You can install add-ons from Opera’s addons portal.
