How it works?
Before a video can be downloaded, we first need to know which formats/qualities of the particular video are available and get the direct download links. Copy the YouTube url from your browser and paste it into the “Video URL” box. YouTube HD Transfer will automatically download some information of the video and the available direct download links. Select the quality you would like to have and click on the “Download” button to download the video.
Tip: When you start a download, the first few megabytes download quite fast and then the download speed drops (generally happens with the lower quality videos). YouTube throttles the speed, so everybody gets a fair share of the available bandwidth. However, you can speed up the download by right-clicking on the video in the list and stop/restart it, wait a few seconds until the download speed drops again and then stop/restart it, etc. Not very ideal, but it works fine.
